Calvin C. Braun
Calvin C. Braun is a partner with Orlando & Braun L.L.P. Mr. Braun has practiced law in Harris and Fort Bend Counties for 16 years, and his practice focuses primarily on bankruptcy representation, including Chapter 7, 11, and 13 Bankruptcy proceedings. He has represented creditors, corporations, and individuals in over a thousand consumer and business bankruptcies. In addition, he assists in matters involving tax litigation, creditors' rights actions, IRS settlement negotiations, and collection matters.
Prior to starting Orlando & Braun L.L.P., Mr. Braun assisted Adair & Myers, PLLC, in expanding its bankruptcy practice in the areas of creditor representation, Chapter 13 debtor representation, and debtor, creditor, and committee representation in large Chapter 11 business reorganization cases. Mr. Braun is admitted to practice law before the State Bar of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the U.S. Tax Court. He obtained his law degree from South Texas College of Law. Prior to law school, he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Banking and Finance, and his B.A. from the State University of New York with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Finance.
