Alicia Maria Matsushima
Alicia Maria Matsushima is the Senior Associate attorney at Orlando & Braun, LLP. Ms. Matsushima has been practicing law in the State of Texas for 14 years. Ms. Matsushima is also admitted as a solicitor in the Senior Courts of England and Wales. Ms. Matsushima's practice primarily focuses on commercial litigation and bankruptcy, including insurance defense, contract matters, collection and creditors' rights and chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases. Client industries include chemical, energy, oil and gas, banking, real estate, life insurance, annuity, ERISA plan administration and underwriting and title insurance companies.
Ms. Matsushima received her Juris Doctor in 1997 from Notre Dame Law School and participated in the Concannon Programme of International Law in London, England during her second year of study. Prior to law school, Ms. Matsushima received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Baylor University in 1994.
Ms. Matsushima is admitted to practice law before the State Bar of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.
